WELCOME TO ADVENTURING WITH YOUR CAT

Please, read carefully these instructions before using the Outdoor Bengal cat harness. Having fun outdoors starts with understanding your cat's needs and providing proper acclimatization.

Prepare the Harness

Before putting on the harness, ensure that your cat is calm and relaxed.

Unbuckle both side straps of the harness so that it's open and flat.

Locate the stopper on the chest strap, which helps adjust the size of the head opening. Move the stopper to a point where it's only large enough for your cat's head to fit through. This will prevent your cat from escaping the harness or slipping out of it.

Hold the harness by the ring at the back, and use your other hand to keep the headspace open.

Introduce Head

Ideally, ask your cat to sit and stay, but you can also squeeze your cat between your elbow and your ribcage.

Tilt the Outdoor Bengal Harness slightly and introduce the cats head first. Be patient and take your time to avoid startling your cat.

Once the head is through, let the harness hang down with the side straps facing toward the floor. This will allow you to adjust the fit of the harness before securing it in place.

Secure The Neck

Slide the stopper up to secure the harness around your cat's neck.

Ensure that it's snug but not too tight and that it falls slightly below the neck, over the ribcage. This will prevent your cat from choking or being uncomfortable.

Secure Sides

Clip the side buckles of the harness, one at a time, and adjust the length of the straps to fit your cat's body.

The straps should be snug but not too tight, allowing enough room for your cat to move and breathe comfortably.

If you need to adjust the length of the straps, you can unclip the buckles to make it easier.

The beauty of adjustable cat harnesses is that you can change the fit until your cat is comfortable wearing them.

Fit as Displayed

Check that the chest pad of the harness is not too close to your cat's neck, as this could cause suffocation.

This image will help you understand how the harness should fit your cat.

If the chest pad is too close to the neck, release the stopper and slide the chest pad down to the chest area.

The harness should fit your cat as displayed. If you have any concerns about the fit, you can always drop us a message or consult your veterinarian.

Congratulations! Your cat is now ready to explore the outdoors safely and comfortably in their new harness.

Remember to supervise your cat at all times while wearing the harness and never leave them unattended.
