ZEPPELIN™ Cat Carrier With Head Hole

So I have a 16 pound Ragdoll , he does not fit comfortably in the carrier. It’s just a bit too small, there are also no side supports so the carrier sort of collapses on top of him. It is made very well otherwise and I love the hole so they can pop their head out. The foam bed insert is also very nice. Most carriers have uncomfortable bottoms to lay on. I wanted to give 5 stars but, I can’t.
Fix the collapsed sides, and saying it takes up to 30 pounds is kind of deceiving, but I also should have also paid closer attention to the dimensions, so that’s probably on me.

I really love every thing about the carrier and sadly it is the only one on the market with the peep hole that my cat loves so I have to keep it as there is no alternative. Unfortunately it doesn’t not maintain and hold its structure and collapses as my cat is both in it and when it’s just empty. They instructed me to stuff it with towels and hang it up which I did but it only stayed for less than a day. I even to a hair drier to the plastic edges to try and reshape/ warm them but it doesn’t work for long.

This is a very versatile and thoughtfully designed cat carrier. If you travel with your cat and usually have a suitcase with you, I think this is a great option.

My only disappointment is that it doesn't come with a shoulder strap, so it can only be carried by hand. Since I was hoping to use it to get my cat used to going out with me, the lack of a shoulder strap makes it a little less convenient for regular outings. For now, it mostly stays at home and has basically become another little “cat bed” for her.

I also noticed that some reviewers mentioned that the carrier tends to collapse. I haven't experienced any major collapsing with mine, possibly because my cat isn't particularly large. That said, as you can see in the photo, one side does sag slightly. This isn't caused by the cloth draped over the carrier.

Smooth zippers, useful pockets, a great removable cat bed, and meets US airline domestic carry-on carrier restrictions. However, mine arrived vertically compressed in shipping, permanently bending the vertical supports such that it never stays upright even after bending them back. Ideally would have a shoulder pad on the strap, too, given cost.

I purchased this carrier because I was moving with my 11 year old cat across the country in a UHaul. Her previous experience with cars was minimal and quite stressful so I was looking for a carrier that could provide her a more comfortable experience. One the first day she tried scratching her way out of the carrier and the material held up very well. She acclimated after the first day on the road and spent the rest of the ride sleeping with the occasional peak through the head hole. I will say, even when she wasn’t using the head hole, it was super convenient to be able to reach in and pet her without having to unzip the carrier. Made her feel very secure and comfortable. Would definitely recommend but my only point against it is that it doesn’t stand up as straight as I was hoping even after giving it time to expand from the packaging.

I do have two problems with the carrier. First, it's too small for my Maine Coon; he's 20lbs now and can't smush into it. I will need to use it for my other cat and find another option for the MC. Second, the sides aren't firm enough and the carrier collapses in on itself.
Other than that, this is sturdy and thoughtfully made.

My cat absolutely loved her new carrier! She's 10 years old and has traveled a lot during her life, I can say that she never had such a good time as when we used Zeppelin. The head role is perfect for her to look around and doesn't feel trapped inside. After 2x 10 hour flights with her in it, I just regret not getting one sooner

Just received my carrier, and while I am quite happy with it, there’s no structure support/boning for the sides, while I understand this is for it to be able to be folded, I always leave my carrier out so I can use when needed and to make my cat comfortable with it. So unfortunately the carrier just folds in on itself, I’ve added strong cardboard to the side panel where you can place your laptop however this doesn’t really help, I’ve put cardboard inside to hold the roof up, but I’ll probably try inserting boning myself so there’s a permanent solution. It’s also a bit smaller (height wise not length wise) than I thought, most likely due to the added bedding, this isn’t really an issue as bengals are quite small, but for taller cats to stand up and use the peephole their back would touch the top if they were to stand, sitting isn’t an issue, just an observation for those with bigger cats :)

My boy Sunny has traveled a lot, but always tries to escape his carrier because he wants to be with me and take part in what is going on. On flights, being out of the carrier is not an option, so the head hole on the Zeppelin is a perfect compromise allowing me to comfort Sunny. With the head hole feature, he can take a better look at his surroundings or have a treat during the most stressful moments without rubbing his nose raw on the inside of a carrier he is trying to escape. It is still very secure and the cat cannot escape the head hole if you follow the directions, especially if you have a bit of a chonker like my boy. All of the pockets and secure zippers on this carrier are so convenient, and it is so well made both in terms of materials and well-thought out design. The included support rods are helpful, and my only suggestion for improvement would be to include 4 more shorter support rods to help keep the carrier standing straight up, since there is a slight slouch to it which I feel limits the room inside for the kitty. However, this is the best carrier we have ever tried, and will continue trusting this brand with our accessories as well! Thank you to this brand for designing products that are so cat and owner focused.

I travel a lot for work and take my bengal boy Ghillie with me almost everywhere. But he loves being able to see me and get the occasional head scratches. His old carrier was ok for short trips but he couldn’t really move around in it. The Zeppelin, he can fully stand up with his head in the hole! He can stretch out or curl up. He loves his new ride!!!

We LOVE this carrier and all of its comfortable options. The extremely comfortable bedding as well as the extra visual views. Currently we are in training mode as the carrier is next to me as I work. So far all of my cats have enjoyed naps while inside. 💝🐾

Bisous loves this carrier! Great construction. We were a little worried it would be a touch to big but it has been fairly easy traveling with so far.

I love this bag!!!! My cat used to run away immediately he hear the sound of the carrier, now he sleeps in the carrier all the time!!! That is how much he loves it and how well designed it is!

This is exactly what we were looking for!! We bought this for our 12 lb dog, and after just one week we’re already really impressed. He’s warming up to it quickly, it’s more spacious than expected, and the quality is outstanding. It feels sturdy, comfortable, and very well made.

We’ve used it for car rides and quick trips so far, and it has worked wonderfully every time. We bought it mainly for plane travel and haven’t flown with it yet, but based on our experience so far, I can only say good things. I’ll definitely update my review once we’ve used it on a flight.

First time my cardboard box obsessed cat has chosen ANYTHING over a box and this carrier earned it! No kidding, we’ve tried hundreds of beds and only 1, now 2, have stuck- this carrier being one of them. I love how safe and comfortable he feels in this carrier. I’ve tried multiple carriers for our ragdoll and this is a winner. He sleeps in it even when not traveling. Remington absolutely loves it. Great air flow for his fluffiness.
