Sizing Chart

As a general rule, 90% of cats need a Medium Size (M-L)

To ensure the best fit, measure the girth of your cat, around the ribcage.

Size Chart:

  • (KITTEN) - girth is between 7-11in (18-28cm)
  • (M-L) - between 11-20in (28-51cm)
  • (XL) - more than 20in (+51cm)

Kittens under 1 year of age will generally use the kitten size and only very large cats like Maine Coons or obese cats will need the XL.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I train my cat to use agility equipment?

There are 2 ways to train a cat to go through the agility course:

  1. Toys - Hunt drive
  2. Treats - Food motivated

While both methods work, the training sessions are going to look very different.

When training with treats, you will have to charge the clicker first, and ideally, your cat needs to know something about clicker training already.

Training with toys makes it more agile, and even kittens can quickly learn.

This agility course comes with a training manual so that you can teach your cat, step by step.

How long does it take to train a cat to use an agility course?

It took me about 2 weekends to teach my cat Mia all the elements of this agility kit.

While she learned the elements in only 3 days, it takes a lot longer to train a cat to do it faster, and much, much longer to get to a competition level.

Good news is that you'll have fun from the very beginning!

Is this agility kit suitable for beginner cats?

Yes! The kit is modular and beginner-friendly. Start simple and build up as your cat gains confidence. Great for first-time trainers and curious cats alike.

What age is best to start cat agility training?

I started clicker training Mia very early, at around 12 weeks old. However, younger cats have a harder time focusing, and it will take longer.

For cats 16 weeks and younger, it's best to start agility using toys, as they are mostly focused on playing and will have a hard time understanding commands.

Cats over 16 weeks can and will learn faster with clicker training.

Is this cat agility set suitable to train multiple cats?

Definitely! The course can be used with multiple cats. Just train one at a time to avoid distractions. Great for multi-cat households looking for enrichment and play.

How do I keep my cat motivated during training sessions?

Use high-value treats, toys, and plenty of praise. Keep sessions fun and short (5 to 10 minutes is ideal).

End on a positive note to keep your cat excited for next time!
