Sizing Chart
As a general rule, 90% of cats need a Medium Size (M-L)
To ensure the best fit, measure the girth of your cat, around the ribcage.
Size Chart:
- (KITTEN) - girth is between 7-11in (18-28cm)
- (M-L) - between 11-20in (28-51cm)
- (XL) - more than 20in (+51cm)
Kittens under 1 year of age will generally use the kitten size and only very large cats like Maine Coons or obese cats will need the XL.

Unlike dogs, cats will rarely do their needs on concrete. They need a litter box or soft ground. When traveling with cats, a portable litter box is necessary.

Is this portable litter box good for small cats?
Go Litter™ is a small litterbox that prioritizes a compact size and portability. For this reason, it's fairly small and has low sides.
Small cats and kittens have a very easy time using this portable litter box, and many use it also as an introductory litter box to litter train their kittens.
How to clean this portable litter box effectively?
The best way to clean your Go Litter™ portable litterbox is to place it in the shower and spray it with water. While the litter box is non-stick, sometimes you may need to scrub it. I use an old scrubber that I keep exclusively for this purpose.
While this foldable litter box is machine washable, it will last longer if washed by hand.
Is Go Litter™ good for air travel?
Yes. In fact, Go Litter™ was designed for traveling with your cat by plane. It's very compact and fast to use, so if your cat gets restless, you can run to the plane bathroom and set it up in under 10 seconds.
We also use it when traveling by car, but finding a place to stop by car is harder, so we offer it every time we stop instead of waiting for our cat to demand it.
Is it hard to train a cat to use a portable litter box?
No, training your cat to use Go Litter™ is not hard. However, try using the same litter you use at home so your cat understands that what you are offering is their litter box for traveling.
Also, consider using the litter box at home, before the trip, so they get used to it in advance.
How long can a cat go without urinating?
A cat should not go more than 24 hours without peeing, as it can become dangerous and potentially fatal within 24-48 hours due to toxins building up in the bloodstream.
Offer the litter box often while traveling. Try to place the litter box in a quiet area with little to no foot traffic. Be reactive and offer the litter box immediately if you notice your cat scratching inside the carrier floor, vocalizing, or having other signs of distress.
How to carry cat litter when traveling?
The Go Litter™ kit comes with a bag designed specifically to carry litter without causing a mess.
It's lined with sherpa fabric that traps dust and keeps your belongings free from litter dust. It's easy to open and can comfortably store the litter box and a travel scooper (included).
Should my cat wear the harness when using the litter box?
When traveling, I never remove the Houdini harness from Mia. While your cat may seem chill during the litter box usage, they may bolt right after it.
We recommend practicing at home but never remove the harness when traveling, unless you are locked inside the plane bathroom or in an other space your cat can't escape from.
